Turning 27 and Feeling the Love

I had such a lovely 27th birthday, I was seriously feeling the love. I’m surrounded by really amazing family and friends and an especially wonderful boyfriend. My actual birthday fell on a thursday so Joshua took me to dinner that night to a restaurant called Roys, a delicious Hawaii fusion joint. The funny thing is I almost took Josh there for his birthday, we’ve both been wanting to try it. Its such a treat to go to a nice restaurant every once and awhile. The food and drinks were delish!

We went home and shared a bottle of wine and I got to open my present from Josh. It looked like “a” present, but it turned out to be many presents disguised as “a” present. I loved opening all of them up!

I got some things I’ve been wanting for the kitchen (pie server, sugar dispenser, and a Slap Chop), two video games (lego batman and katamari), a blue tooth, and the most beautiful Burberry Sunglasses you’ve ever seen. He really outdid himself.

I celebrated with my friends the Saturday after my birthday. We had a nice casual dinner outside at a pizza joint called Pitfire. Great food, beer on tap, and amazing company. I had a really great time. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.

I feel very lucky.
